Community Energy Scotland is a registered charity that provides practical help for communities on green energy development and energy conservation. Community Energy Scotland represents their members and community organisations at policy level and helps keep community energy in the forefront of relevant organisations such as DECC, OFGEM, SSE and National Grid. They believe that communities can become stronger, more self-reliant and resilient by generating their own energy and using it efficiently. They provide education, finance and practical help and also act as a voice for communities who want to act now for a more secure and sustainable energy future in Scotland.
