Great Moor House, Bittern Road, Exeter

EnergieSprong UK and Regen created the opportunity to learn from international experts in the field of deep level retrofit in office buildings.

The event ran in conjunction with the Zero Energy Buildings Catalyst (ZEBCat) Programme that will run until June 2020 as part of the ERDF. The programme is due to include a major project to deliver significant energy savings on the Great Moor House Offices, a public building in Exeter considered to be difficult to treat.

The afternoon event was open to all those with an interest in this field of work, as well as those who have a more active involvement in the programme itself.

It included a presentation from Dutch experts ‘Kantoor vol Energie’ who have been delivering highly energy efficient office retrofit solutions for over 4 years in the Netherlands.

This was followed by a discussion panel bringing together a number of experts in delivering this work and other such innovative energy efficiency programmes.
