are looking for a talented individual to join our Technical Delivery Team for the Dorset Low Carbon Economy Programme in Dorchester.

This new Programme, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), aims to stimulate a step change in Dorset’s low carbon economy, through accelerating the deployment and demonstration of energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.

Your role will be to provide renewable energy technical advice and support to community, public and business sector organisations, including the provision of a grants fund. You will need to ensure that you meet agreed outputs, match funding targets and be ERDF compliant.

You will have a proven track record of delivering technical renewable projects, ideally with communities and public sector organisations as well as a knowledge of EU funded low carbon programmes. Excellent project management, communication and partnership working skills will also be essential.

This position is a 3 year fixed term opportunity based at County Hall in Dorchester.

This post has a significant travel requirement and you are contractually required to have a vehicle (or transport deemed to be suitable by the County Council) available for use as required.
