More on this theme

South West Councils have received funding from the South West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership to develop training resources to complement the SW Planners' Toolkit materials.  The training supports local authorities in understanding and implementing the requirements of the PPS1 supplement on climate change and the current draft revised supplement, as well as offering support on other sustainable energy and climate change issues such as wind energy and energy from waste.

The SW IEP funded project has produced the training materials, so that the training modules can be delivered at a low cost to councils from June 2010.

The training materials have been prepared by CAG Consultants, in association with Peter Capener, Houghton Associates, Buro Happold, Impetus Consulting and the Devon Sustainable Building Initiative.
