Tourism and renewables

Regen SW has worked with South West Tourism and the University of Exeter on a project to promote the opportunities for investing in renewable energy to tourism businesses.

Switch on to renewable energy is a guide for tourism businesses considering installing renewable energy and includes case studies of five south west tourism businesses that have already installed renewable energy. 

In May 2010, Regen SW, South West Tourism and the University of Exeter ran three events for tourism businesses that wanted to reduce their CO2 emissions. Regen SW invited south west based MCS renewable installers to exhibit at the events providing tourism businesses with an opportunity to find out more and take their interest further if they so wished.
