Resource Maps

A significant amount of research into the renewable energy resources available in the south west has been undertaken.

Regen SW, in partnership with the Department for Energy and Climate Change, is currently producing up-to-date assessments that build on the original resource assessments undertaken through the REvision 2010 and 2020 projects, in light of technical developments, the UK target for 2020 and the change in political ambition for renewable energy, both nationally and locally. 

Some of the outputs of this project will be available to view on this website from the end of June 2010.  Public sector partners will be able to request GIS data layers for use in their own GIS systems. There will be an administrative charge to obtain the GIS data layers.
