Bristol Company will install HVAC cables for German Offshore Wind Farm
Offshore Marine Management, who’s headquarters are in Bristol, have been contracted by the Transpower Stromübertragungs gmbh, to install the high voltage AC cables between the Bard Offshore 1 wind farm and the BorWin Alpha offshore substation.
The scope of work includes preparatory work, actual installation and post burial surveying. The contract was won by the companies Bremen office and will be run by OMM’s office in Cambridge.
The length of cable is approximately 1.1 km and in depths of water around 40 m.
