The RETScreen Clean Energy Project Analysis Software is a sophisticated calculation tool  developed under the leadership and ongoing financial support of the CanmetENERGY research centre of Natural Resources Canada's (NRCan). It can be used worldwide to evaluate energy production/ savings, emission reductions, financial viability etc. The tool can be obtained free of charge from here.
