Find out how and why the Renewable Energy Strategy for Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole is being updated including:
- The facts about how much renewable energy could be generated locally
- Which technologies would bring most economic benefits for local communities
- What has already been installed successfully in the area
- What policies support and require increasing renewable energy generation
- What issues face renewable heat and renewable electricity installations locally
- Which type of renewable energy development should be prioritised in future
- What actions should local organisations pursue to increase installation rates of renewable energy
This consultation event will inform the development of the updated renewable energy strategy for the whole area, so helping to shape the nature, scale and location of future renewable energy installations. The updated strategy will be an important document, guiding both strategic thinking and investment decisions concerning renewable energy opportunities.
