Under the new government, local authorities will be leading the way in delivery and the ring masters in the UK's low carbon economy.

In conjunction with the Energy Saving Trust, Regen SW, the sustainable energy agency for the south west of England, is running a major conference setting out best practice and support tools for the public sector. The keynote speaker is John Fiennes, Director of Climate Change at CLG and workshops include a session run by DECC on opportunities for the public sector to develop renewable energy.
