2nd Bristol Tidal Energy Forum
29 February 2012 Time: 10:30 - 14.00
Venue: Osborne Clarke, Bristol
After the positive feedback from the inaugural Tidal Energy Forum at Bristol Port last year, the 2nd Bristol Tidal Energy Forum, hosted by Bristol City Council was held at the offices of Osborne Clarke on 29 February.
This interactive event provided:
- an opportunity for tidal energy businesses based in and around Bristol to meet, collaborate and share information
- support for Bristol to better position itself as a centre for marine energy
- strategic direction and insight to inform Bristol’s economic development plans
- industry insight and market intelligence
This event also looked ahead to future marketing and industry networking opportunities including the RenewableUK Wave and Tidal conference and All Energy.
The presentations from the days speakers are now available:
Nick Graves, Burges Salmon - 'Where is the money coming from?'
Jeremy Thake, ITP - 'Risk in Marine Energy Projects'
Alan John, Osborne Clarke - 'Investor attitudes to risk'
Tom Hitchings, National Composites Centre
