SE8 Tasks overview

The aim is that this local evidence would build on the information contained in the South West Heat Map to assess in more detail the opportunities for new development in specific areas or sites to contribute to or foster the development of existing or new heat networks. The list of tasks is as follows:

1. Create an Energy Opportunities Plan
2. Define potential boundaries of DHN opportunity areas or sites
3. Assess future energy demand and carbon emissions from new development in the areas
4. Assess future energy demand and carbon emissions from existing buildings and developments in the areas
5. Assess technical and financial viability of DHNs for these areas
