SE2 Tasks Overview

  1. Create energy opportunities plan
  2. Identify strategic new development sites with specific renewable energy resource or energy opportunities
  3. Assess future energy demand and carbon emissions from developments on the site
  4. Test feasibility and viability of targets for carbon reduction for proposed developments on the sites
  5. (Optional) Carry out illustrative development appraisal for strategic sites, taking into account other obligations, to assess residual land value. NB This may be needed only where targets oblige developers to make capital expenditure significantly in excess of that required by Building Regulations)
