Skills and training

Significant growth in the renewables sector is expected and through working with regional businesses Regen SW has identified that the availability of suitable skills and training is a limiting factor to business in order to meet our future demand and exploit growing opportunities.  Therefore Regen SW is working with regional Further Education Colleges and Universities to develop suitable training provision to meet business needs and stimulate growth in the sector.  Currently this involves working with the regional Low Carbon High Skills project to establish a regional spread of microgeneration courses for existing and new business in conjunction with clusters of Further Education colleges across the region.  For more information about this project and information on how to get involved please contact:
