Dipti Naphade

Dipti joined Regen SW as a Graduate Intern. She gained her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Architecture with a First Class in 2007. She worked as an Architectural Trainee in a multi-disciplinary firm - Tierra Design, Singapore. She holds a Masters degree in Sustainable Environmental Design from the prestigious Architectural Association School of Architecture, London. Having gained the BREEAM International Assessor training, Dipti¬¬ is qualified to carry out BREEAM Assessments outside of the UK (Gulf and Europe) using the standard schemes and the Bespoke International Scheme. Hence, she is focused on continuing to gain experience in the sustainable design and energy sector.

The M.Sc. course at the AA School of Architecture, London taught Dipti different aspects of sustainability and made her aware of the various energy tools which can be used to assess how sustainable the buildings are and how solar energy could be tapped by designing buildings in efficient ways. Dipti sincerely believes that sustainable developments will require balanced and holistic approach which should take into account the socio-economic factors like cultural diversity, climate change and health impact, etc. There is a lot of increasing stress on our resources and environmental systems such as water, land and air. Hence, along with the developments going green, it also becomes necessary for the human behaviour to change; and Dipti wishes to contribute towards bringing this change. She believes that, her license to work as a BREEAM Assessor will help her in achieving the motive.

Dipti will be working for Regen SW’s esteemed Green Energy Awards, an event which celebrates the success of sustainable energy in the region. Her role within Regen SW includes conducting research, writing and compiling the case-studies. She will also be playing an additional role of a designer in the company. Dipti’s extensive experience of conducting research will help her make quality contribution to the organization.
