About Regen SW

What is Regen SW?

Regen SW is a leading centre of sustainable energy expertise and pioneering project delivery.

Our mission is to enable business,  local authorities, community groups, and other organisations to deliver ground-breaking renewable energy and energy efficiency projects with thriving local supply chains.

We do this in three ways:

1. inspiring change
   we run pioneering projects that accelerate the delivery of sustainable energy technologies on the ground
    
2. backing business
   we equip companies working in the field of sustainable energy to make the most of the huge opportunities that the sector offers
    
3. preparing the ground
   we support local, regional and national decision makers to create the right conditions for investment in sustainable energy projects

Membership and Board

Regen SW is a not-for-profit company, with both its Membership and Board of directors comprising representatives from the private, voluntary and public sectors. Membership packages are available to businesses, local authorities and key partners, who recognise the importance of our work and wish to share in the benefits of our services.

To maintain our independence and focus, Regen SW also has eminent Trustees who can block changes to our Articles of Association that would change our strategic direction.

How is Regen SW funded?

Regen SW's subscription-based membership underpins the work we carry out. We also work directly with partner organisations and seek support from central government, local authorities and other public bodies to further fund our activities.
 

National influence: south west expertise

Regen SW's primary focus is on delivering ground-breaking projects in the south west, providing a critical mass of expertise and a test-bed for pioneering projects. However, we are also committed to using this experince to build up our national connections and influence. We focus on giving businesses in the south west more of a voice in national policy and help draw in more investment.
